The Cobalt 100 is a 64-bit, 128-core chip based on the Arm architecture. Besides, Microsoft also provides AMD’s MI300X accelerator for Azure cloud computing service. This is a cost-effective option for running large language models on Azure OpenAI.

In addition, Microsoft also reduced the price of accessing and running major language models, introduced the new Fabric data analysis system with real-time data streaming capabilities and integration with many different platforms. Fabric will also support Snowflake’s Iceberg format, allowing for easy data exchange between the two parties.

For Copilot users, Microsoft is launching direct Azure resource management in natural language, promising a smoother software development process. This feature is built on an open platform, allowing others to integrate and provide similar capabilities.
