Apple recommends that all users download the latest update as soon as possible.
Apple released iOS 17.4.1 on Thursday, more than two weeks after the company released iOS 17.4. While iOS 17.4 brings new features to your iPhone, such as options Protect your device from being stolen New and transcripted in Podcasts, iOS 17.4.1 includes several security patches and bug fixes for your iPhone.
To download the update, go to Settings> General settings> To Update Software, tap Update Now and follow the onscreen instructions.
“This update provides important bug fixes and security updates, recommended for all users,” Apple wrote in the update description.
Apple has not yet said what problems the update fixes. Typically, Apple posts an update’s CVE entries — short for common vulnerability and exposure information — online immediately after releasing the update. Apple hasn’t posted this information yet, but the company told CNET that posting this information online could take time.
Techlade will update this article when more information becomes available.
