The Android 15 operating system has just released its second beta version with many attractive features. Among them, the most notable feature is the “private space” that allows you to hide a group of applications that you do not want others to see. You can set a password or fingerprint authentication to access this space.
PrivateSpace works like a digital “safe” in your phone. It not only hides apps but also blocks notifications and files created or downloaded from those apps. For example, you can hide all your dating apps in a private space to avoid being bothered by notifications at unexpected times.
In addition, Android 15 also allows custom vibration for notifications. Now you can differentiate vibrations for Slack or Teams messages from Uber Eats delivery notifications without taking your phone out of your pocket.
Another interesting point is the ability to preview widgets. Previously, you only saw the avatar image when selecting a widget. Now you can see exactly what the widget will look like before placing it on your home screen. For example, when you select the contacts widget, you’ll see a real person’s name in your contacts instead of the default avatar.
The second beta of Android 15 is also compatible with more devices than the first, including foldable phones and tablets from Lenovo, Realme, Honor, Xiaomi, Oppo, Nothing, etc.
