VinFast VF3 revealed: Impressive size, “quality” design, price waiting to be revealed

VinFast officially introduced the VF3 mini electric car model at the VinFast exhibition – For a green future. Although it has not yet been “touched in person”, the VF3 has attracted attention because of its square, strong design and competitive price.

Impressive size

Although VF3 belongs to the mini segment, it has quite a large size, equivalent to VF5. The boxy design helps the car look more imposing and sturdy. The hood is longer than other mini EV models, making the VF3 look less “mini”.

VinFast VF3 uses an electric motor with a maximum capacity of 32 kW, maximum torque of 110 Nm. The car is capable of accelerating from 0-50 km/h in 5.3 seconds and has a maximum travel distance of up to 200km on a single charge.

Price and launch date

VinFast has not announced the official selling price for VF3. However, many predictions say that the car price will fluctuate between 250-300 million VND. VF3 will start accepting deposits in September 2023 and hand over to customers in the third quarter of 2024.

VF3’s main competitor in the Vietnamese market is HongGuang Mini EV with a selling price of 239-279 million VND and a range of 120-170 km. The advantage of VF3 compared to its competitors is that the VinFast public charging station system is quite complete, helping users move more flexibly.
