SteelSeries, the leading brand in gaming peripherals, has just officially introduced the Arctis Nova 5 – the latest gaming headset equipped with a dedicated companion app, giving gamers over 100 audio settings optimized for popular titles on Xbox and PlayStation 5.
The highlight of Arctis Nova 5 is its extremely rich sound settings, up to more than 100 options, specifically for famous games such as Fortnite, Apex Legends, Minecraft,… According to SteelSeries, these settings are “specifically designed by sound engineers for each game”, to provide the most realistic and vivid sound experience, helping gamers easily “catch” the sound of their footsteps. opponents, gunshots or sound effects in the game.
The $129.99 price tag is a bit higher than last year’s Arctis Nova 4 ($119.99), but the Arctis Nova 5 offers some compelling features to make up for it.
To use the Nova 5 application, users need to connect the Arctis Nova 5 headset to the mobile device via Bluetooth. However, this does not affect the ability to receive calls between games. Thanks to the “Quick Switch Wireless” feature, users can easily switch audio output between 2.4GHz and Bluetooth 5.3 with just a press of a button on the earcup. Thanks to that, users can make calls via Bluetooth while the in-game audio still maintains the 2.4GHz passive connection, ensuring a seamless and uninterrupted gaming experience.
The highlight of Arctis Nova 5 is its battery life of up to 60 hours per charge, helping you comfortably play games all day long without worrying about interruptions. Plus, USB-C fast charging takes just 15 minutes to provide an additional 6 hours of use, ensuring you’re ready for battle no matter the time.
The sound quality on Arctis Nova 5 is guaranteed by a high-end neodymium magnetic speaker system, providing detailed and vivid sound, helping you easily recognize every move of your opponent in the game. The built-in microphone on the headset uses a new wideband chipset, supporting 32kHz / 16-bit audio, allowing you to communicate clearly with teammates, improving tactical coordination in the game.
The SteelSeries Nova 5 gaming headset has a prominent highlight with a mic that retracts into the headset when not in use, providing neatness and aesthetics. The mic can be seamlessly integrated into the earcup, increasing user flexibility.
Compared to its predecessor Nova 4, Nova 5 is equipped with advanced AI noise cancellation feature. Thanks to that, gamers can be completely immersed in the game world without being affected by surrounding noise, even when playing games in a noisy environment.
With a price of only 10 USD higher than Nova 4, SteelSeries Nova 5 offers valuable upgrades, promising to be an attractive choice for gamers looking for a high-quality gaming headset.
