According to researcher Alessandro Paluzzi, who regularly “dissects” Meta apps, Instagram is about to get a very interesting new feature. Specifically, users will soon be able to share interesting comments they see on Instagram posts to the Threads app. This means that interesting conversations on Instagram will be able to spread more widely on Threads.
According to Paluzzi, in the near future, when we comment on Instagram, a new and extremely convenient option will appear. Instead of just leaving a comment there, we can choose to share this comment to the Threads platform, in addition to keeping it on Instagram. This feature will help us interact more widely on both social networks.

However, users also have the option of whether or not to connect these accounts. Currently, Threads does not have a direct messaging feature like some other social networks, but users can still use Instagram to send messages. Meta is making Threads more open by integrating deeply with the fediverse. This will enrich the Threads user experience as they can interact with the fediverse community seamlessly. This means that Threads users can now see responses from the fediverse right on their own posts, and even discover posts from other users in the ecosystem.
