The National Cyber Security Association has just introduced “Fraud Prevention” software for people, to help them protect themselves from increasingly common forms of online fraud. This application works on both iOS and Android operating systems, is completely free and is expected to officially launch in July 2024.
How does the software work?
“Phishing Prevention” is packed with advanced features to protect users from online dangers, including:
- Check phone number: Prevent scam calls and spam messages.
- Malicious website warning: Identify and warn users when accessing fake websites or containing malicious code.
- Safe QR code scanning: Helps users verify the authenticity of QR codes before making transactions or accessing information.
- Check bank account number: Verify the accuracy of account information before making currency transactions.
Data updated continuously
The software is supported by a continuously updated database, directly connected to reputable information sources such as the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the State Bank and other cybersecurity organizations. . Thanks to that, the application is always equipped with the latest information about fraudulent tricks, ensuring optimal protection for users.
